Participants will be exposed to field-recording techniques, audio editing, sound and compositional theory.

Applications for our first Sound Art Synergy (SAS) project are now open. Students aged 13-18 are invited to apply. Seven participants will work with instructor Stephen Webb to realize new sound art works for the Oulu Art Museum.
SAS is an educational project that oversees the development of sound art pieces for public display in Oulu's city centre.

Stephen Webb has exhibited at the Sounding Now Festival (Singapore), the 1646 Project Space (Hague), and the New Blood Performance Festival (Chicago). In 2021, his collaborative monologue opera Angels, Instead was invited to show at Rupert Centre as part of the curatorial program for the 14th Baltic Triennial (Vilnius.) He is an active teacher in Finland and abroad
